  2. Not yet... but on my to do list :) They are sold for mainly to print in clay and you can expose the plate with lamps or sunlight, good for illustrations!

Thanks for the information Jax, I have been looking for someone to create a type-high Zinco for my Printmonkey logo. I'll give Centurion a go ...

  5. Does anybody know of any Polymer plate suppliers in the UK. It looks like the Alpha Engraving site listed above has disappeared and whilst Boxcar Press looks great the shipping costs weigh in quite high. I would love to hear of any alternatives ?

  6. Hi Matt, that's why I've never bothered with polymer and just use magnesium, I can't seem to find anybody who sells polymer plates in the UK that are as deep as the boxcar ones for a deep impression. There was a thread on Briarpress about polymer in the uK which might be helpful

  7. Hi Jax, thank you for your comment re our zinco's.
I thought that you would like to know that we also supply polymer plates, especially deep etched, either mounted or plain, and our revised website will soon have this info on it.

  8. Hi Jax

I have been experimenting with making Polymer plates and am now able to produce good results, the secret is to ensure good contact between the polymer and neg and, of course, to obtain the precise exposure time
